    Is there enough positives to justify the negatives? And no matter how you tweak the numbers, youll still take the focus away from resource gathering/land control.

    RFK should definitly stay.
    It just works better IMHO.

    Maybe u guys like to play 100 pubs where ur team is too impotent to make or defend rts but I definitly dont ( i know that there are enough good servers etc blablabla )

    it makes the game more fun AND more competitive (stop looking at other ppls res and start looking at your own <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> )

    and no im not some rambo guy who is obsessed by bling bling, ive played the older versions and IMHO RFK is the way to do it.

    HOW? How does it work better? How is it more fun? How is it more competitive? (competitive against your own teammates? "my number is biggar than yours!!1" competitive?)

    I don't have a problem with the current RfK system.

    <i>However</i> I think Flay <i>should</i> experiment with different resource models for the sake of seeing what the impact will be on b3.0 gameplay.

    The 2 models I would like to see tried on in pub servers are:

    1. RfK to Alien Res Pool
    2. No RfK for Marines / Minimize RfK per Kill for Aliens (1 or 2 Res instead of Random 1-3)*

    *How I justify this one is Marines should be rewarded <i>only</i> for holding territory since the story is they are trying to reclaim a facility or base from the aliens. Only Aliens should benefit individually from wiping out the human scum, for the marines it is the job they have been sent to do.

    Again, I have <b>no</b> problem with the current resource model but I can't deny something is negatively affecting the gameplay of b3.0 pubs... even if it isn't the resource model that needs tweaking maybe making slight changes to it will shed some light on just exactly what is going on in pub servers.

    Oh and to the guy (CWAG I think) that seems to think what Flay thinks is set in stone. I remember when Flayra posted (pre-v2.0) that he didn't think Bunny-Hopping will be removed from the Marines... I don't think what Flayra thinks is set in stone for Flayra. Don't go snobbing this forum up with your "Flayra says so-and-so this thread is irrelevent" bull shizzle. I can recall all the vets and pts that said that discussing bunny hopping was irrelevent... really eh...

    The object of the game is to control land and resources, not how many people you can kill, RFK only encourages frag hunting...

    Yeah, gorges really got boned with rfk,
    i say lower it to 1 rfk and donate to the local gorge.

    HE! idea: why not let a form of overflow accur when you're res is above 50 or so.
    this would make res****s less bad and give gorges plenty of res.
    If you're res is over 50 then 1/2 of the rfk goes to those with less then 50.
