I take this "put nazi signs in!!!!!1111one" as a joke now. Other possibilities include you wanting to insult me because of my origin (all those people saying I take things personal are right...), that you like nazi signs, or that you are too young to understand what putting nazi signs means. Last possibility (too young) seams most likely to me, because "Nazi signs" doesn't really mean anything. Inversed swastika? SS runes? Reichsadler+Ehrenkranz? Combination of anything? Did you even think about what you said?
Anyway, I advice you (who suggested nazi signgs) to get out and stay out of this thread and my view. Thank you.

i think the "nazi sign" idea came from someone mentioning the helmets were reference from german wwII helmets. i dont think he meant anything by it.

The Jin-Roh unit was Japanese, but used German weaponry and styled equipment because the director's a manic WW2 history buff. A plethora of German, British and Russian weapons from the period are present in the film.
German, British, Russian and American period weapons are also to be seen in The Rundown.
Leave the manji alone, already. It's being used as an excuse to show off a swastika without it really being a swastika. I played that game too, a while back. It's just not worth it. Nobody will respect you any more than they do [do they?] for knowing the origin of the swastika.
I wanted to do something like this when I first saw Jin-Roh, but never got around to it. Good job. It's looking great.
So can i beta test? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Jin-Roh (Wolfman, not to be confused with a werewolf.) is a re-telling of the story Rottkapchen (the original German Red Ridinghood.) And in the beginning of the film, it mentions something about the German occupation of Japan. (It is also an alternate history film, meaning the Nazi Reich won WWII, and not the allied forces. The movie, FYI, is also set during the 1960s.) Which means, it has nothing to do with the director being a maniac WWII buff.
So, in reality sticking a swastica on the arm of the soldiers wouldnt be too off of the general topic, but it is all up to what the modeler wants to do.
Yep but I did not see any swasticas in the movie... it is better not to put it in to the skin. And the Japan is not Nazi nation in the movie... it is no longer in German hands because they say that the occupation troops have left.
