You must have lost your mind, CS is STILL the biggest multiplayer game in existance right now, not even slightly close to dead. NS may not be the same game it was in the 1.04 days, but with the onset of CNS the game's popularity exploded. It is yet to be seen weather the game can respark a substantial clan scene and weather HL2 will strike a hard blow to the NS user amounts.

NS still has Devs, a community, clans, and servers. It still has everything thats pointing to it still being an active game. As long as we have a community and Devs as far as im concerned NS is still alive. I would consider myself an experienced player and i still know that the game is very easily playable. HL2 may take some players away from NS but i know that i will still be here.

ok let me elaborate myself, the online scene in general has nothing unique to offer,
it takes alot of impress me, and to keep me engaged for a long period of time, nothing out there right now does that for me, and i speak for many, but from experience games like CS etc altho have a large following, do not possess the qualitys to provide me with the aformentioned. iam not the kind of person that relys on statistics or the majority to say that a game isnt dead or is playable?, who are these gamers that say so? the matrix game was one of the biggest selling games of 2003 selling over 1 million copies in its first week. (no comment)

countless of mods are appearing, all with thier dev teams, communitys and your fancy downloadable wallpapers, doesnt mean the games alive, games alive when its still playable, thats what it gets down to right? enjoying the game because its entire architecture is robust and executed to provide the best gameplay.

And NS is. But unlike any other game, NS REQUIRES other people with COMPETENCE to play with you. Just playing with Joe Blow off the street won't get you nothing. Here, you've gotta work as a team, where at very most, you have 2 idiots, and even thats pushing it. This requires a good server- something VERY rare in NS' history.

NS isn't dying anytime soon, and just because you don't like it any more doesn't mean its dead by ANY means.

Everything eventually dies out....except if its immortal..but thats not the case. NS seems to have died a while ago and is still slowly decaying.

So youre saying the only folks who can't enjoy NS are idiots? Flawed logic. NS isn't playable in a competetive scene and thats what NS was primarily designed for, so now we have a game balanced by people who can't kill a skulk to save their life. Incompetent playtesters, the removal of veterans, cal NS loses 10 clans every season.

The problem isn't that he isn't posting. The problem is that we just can't see him (them) via normal means.

Apparently admins with Flayra visibility have mega forum invis-o-h4x. You can't see them in the Members list for starters....try running a search for MonsE and I'll assure you he isn't there.

But on-topic....maybe I'll agree with MonsE. Mostly because he hangs out mostly here in OT XD

Umm, any game that several thousand people play every day, and has a vibrant professional rank comunity, MUST still be playable. I think your confusing you not liking/being board of games, with games acctually still being playable. Unfortunately, just beacuse someone doesn't like a game doesn't mean it is dead. A game is dead when people don't play it, not when the there are high numbers of people who don't like it. People who dislike the game do nothing for deciding weather a game is dead or not at all.
