    USP = BAD? Are you kidding? I can solo twenty expert bots (well, somewhat depending on the map) with a USP! Two rules of thumb:<ul><li>Never get surrounded, and run if they get too close. If two or three bots start knifing you, you are dead.</li><li>One shot to stop them dead (no pun intended) in their track, one headshot to kill them. If you're really good, you could take out six zombies before having to reload.</li></ul>Take that to heart and the USP is deadly.

    My personal favourites right now are the P90 and duallies, both have pretty high rates of fire and decent clip size. The P90 has a pretty fast reload too. Providing you don't let them close enough, you're good.

    Well I have found a few things based on Trial And Error

    Pistols are friendly, the AWP isn't alltogether that useful unless people are covering, the Gaili is very good and I really want to try Office with the CT's (Mainl7y because I like the FA MAS and the M4)

    That and rescuing people from a Zombified office could be a lot of fun......

    For some reason, pistols just never seem to shoot as fast as I click; or rhythmicly, for that matter. I can be clicking away forever, and I'll actually be spouting out rounds with a decent ROF with the duallies, and then they'll just kind of lock up...sort of like they jammed, except every 6th or 7th click they'll shoot out another round, until they get back to normal-ish.


    Maybe there's a console command to correct this...or maybe I'm just clicking to fast <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> .

    I like using the M249 and the umm... non-auto shotgun (i don't know the names of many things <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->). I find they work quite well.

    those would have to be my favourite two weapons aswell.

    the auro shotgun is useless, the m249s big clip just rocks

    having only plyed office so far, i'm limited to CTs, otherwise they go for the hostages, i tend to stick with the USP or buy a deagle

    just played de_piranesi, and i found that the bots barely ever come up to the top, unless they spot you, and then come running up.

    it was fine for a minute, then a few bots came alone, then all 10 ame at the same time, and i needed to reload both guns :/ so i jumped off the top, and carried on.

    i never successfully won without camping in a hard to get to spot though :/

    I always seem to win the first round, when I use all my clock ammo, and then scrounge for USP ammo...then I get all rambo like, to make it more interesting, like looking for the zombies, charging at them with dualies...and then running away when the 10 other guys come around the corner.

    Or having basically the whole team charge at you while you try to hold them off without moving, just like real action stars <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> .

    Of course, if I could support more than 16 bots, it'd probably be different (though they seem to have the flanking moves down of office).

    I usually run about 50 fps on office normally. I turn on about 14 bots and i get 15. Me turning the bots up to about 30 = suicide.

    Played with 4 people on the server, 4vs20bots was the situation. We were able to easily win, but we decided that using rifles were too easy so we decided to use just pistols. Made it harder, but not enough to have a serious chance of losing.

    In an attempt at learning new effects of the source engine (featuring cubemaps, blending, physics and the like), I'm trying to make a map that would be fun to play with zombies. At the moment I'm with making the zombies the CTs, because it's really harder to start as a T (plus the dualies>Five-seven...plus the FAMAS basically desroys them if you can aim (I mean, crosshairs at head level+3round burst = at least 7 kills, usually more)...while Galil and AK47 really can start flying all over if you get a lot of zombies at once and you need to retreat while firing.



    Anyway, I had the new map started...it just...looked like crap, so I'm starting over, going for an invested city-streets type feel, but the zombie-craze will likely be long dead by the time I get anything presentably/professionally done.


    But I just yearn for that Resident Evil feel (even if the enemies don't look like zombies).

    Just played for a bit on cs_italy and de_dust (listenserver was set to random map). 1 human vs. 20 bots on expert difficulty -- just makes them strafe more irregularly and attack in packs more often.

    Ripping through "zombies" with an ak or m249 with the bass turned up and the mouse trembling in your hand is such a welcome change from the normal gametypes available in CS <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
