I doubt anyone will care by the time I get around to finishing this (and it's missing a lot of props and stuff, this early - so i compiles faster), but here's what the planned CT spawn of my map looks like (I'm thinking of possibly staggering the spawns just for zombie play)...
[also very aware that it's pretty bright, but it's a bit hard to edit when it's dark out, and actually, there are better views (especially since you're not intended to see the roof 'tops'), but this is the only 'finished' view where you can't see a lot of sky)]

Steps to open hammer (...maybe a bit too simplified):
-Start Steam -Click 'Play Games' -Scroll down all the way to the bottom of the window that opens -Under the heading 'Tools' is Source SDK (double click) -Under the heading 'Utilities' is Refresh SDK Content (double click) -Wait for it to finish -Switch the combo box on the bottom from Half-Life 2: Deathmatch to Counter-Strike: Source -Under the heading 'Applications' is Hammer Editor (double click)
[Hammer should set itself up, if it doesn't there are sources for setting it up under SDK Reference Docs]
Unless you're trying to do something else, then I can try to help with that as well.
[edit]: reading the post before this one, it seems like you're trying to get to cbble's source map; in which cas you may need to refresh the SDK (because it wasn't in early releases, if I remember right)
that looks amazing ultimate geko make sure you add alot of fog and a few flashing lights (like about to burn out) at night that would be the ultimate zombie map

You should be able to just go to CS:S, play it and create a new server and be able to set the bots.
If it doesn't let you do it on the server screen, try typing out 'bot_add' or 'bot_quota 16' or anything like that (typing 'bot' will bring up that filler list that lets you look through all the commands with the up/down arrows).
It also works pretty well for CS:CZ, and amazingly enough, you can be offline for it, and they don't take as much memory so it's easier to get a lot more of them (although I haven't seen a map with more than 20 spawn points for either team, yet).
thanks shame i cant play it with some one else <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Version 3 of Zombie cobble is ready. I've given the map a bit of a twist to keep people on their toes a bit longer.
<i>make your way to Site A or B to stock up on equipment. You'll only have what you start with to take on the zombie horde until you get there. You only have a limited amount of time to get to the buy zones until you cant buy anything. Use your flashlights to navigate the dark corridors inside the building.</i>
Its not hard to get to the buy zones, but its pretty scary having twenty zombies behind you, when you're armed with nothing more than a knife and a glock. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Norn, could you possibly make a "swarm" version for servers that could handle say, a massive 50 bot horde. All it would really need changed is 50 ct spawns and a buyzone for in terrorist spawn (against 50 bots, large guns from the start are more than justified)
<!--QuoteBegin-Spacer+Feb 4 2005, 07:07 PM--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> (Spacer @ Feb 4 2005, 07:07 PM)</td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin--> Glock is actually really good for killing zombies when set to burst-fire :o. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> Glock is good for zombie killing period. all it takes is 2 HS, which is not to hard to do if you take your time and have them running in rows (read hallways work alot better then open areas).
