If we do this, we might as well stick together. Let's pick an official NS ship and lobby as soon as possible so we can all go to the same place and play together.

That's why I said "as soon as possible." <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Personally, I would go for one of the lobbies with that soccer type game, that was awesome.

We also need to make a "Team" as soon as possible. What shall we call it? TSA? NS? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> (can you even name your team?)
Also, what are all the different classes? It's been a while since I've played it, so I don't remember what they are.
I doubt it would matter if the Lobby is pretty at christmas because I don't thinkt he open beta will last that long.

None of the force weapons are open to other classes, not like it matters. Pistols and sabers are classless weapons, hence any class being able to use them.

Oh okay, cool. Yup. I'll be a HUmar. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> edit: Which do you think is better [for PSO], cube controller or dreamcast controller?
No, what I'm saying is that the multi-hit weapons sometime weren't powerful enough. The shotgun was fairly powerful, but really only because it knocked back. But the throwing sword for the Hunter was plain awful. At least, when I used it, it was. Since it's really their only ranged multi-hit weapon, I'm sure it had to be slow. I might wind up using it though, as it seems to be used in plenty of old PS games.
EDIT: I'd say Gamecube controller, just because it's pretty much the best controller on the market anyways (According to most, anyways). And yay, hunters unite! It's HUcast for me.

I'll probably make a secondary magic charactar. (Force?) I think gamecube controllers are very nice, but there are definitely flaws. The Z button sucks (bad placement, almost no give to it), and the X and Y buttons are extremely hard to hit together for games like Soul Caliber. (I set L or R equal to that when I played because it was impossible to do.)
The c-stick seems digital... I don't know if it is, or if that's just how it has been used in games. It seems like it really only has four directions (left, right, up, and down), and then of course the corner ones made up by pressing two of those... It just seems strange... it's like c-buttons on N64, but it seems like it should be more like a joystick... since you know, that's what it is.

One weapon type the nobody cares about hardly throws off the balance of all the weapons in the game, Surge. Every weapon has its use except for slicers and force weapons.

the 'throwing sword' is a slicer. They're relatively hard to use but rather weak. They have weird combo timing compared to the other weapons so people tend to muck up the 3 hit with them and on top of that the lock-on system for hitting multiple people with it is just... well... odd o.O

You needn't bother reading the backstory. In truth, I expect that most people here will hate the game after playing WoW and the like. It's just so small in comparison.

Also I haven't seen the new lobbies so I don't know what numbers are what themes. We need to pick a pretty one!!! :D

I think I'd like the one with the trees and stuff... it looks really nice on xmas from the screenies I've seen too :D

Nobody would want to use force weapons so I don't know which one of theirs is open to the other two classes :p
