Breakthrough

Interesting thing happened to me. I went to join a server today, double clicked it. The menu screen dimmed out for a sec (as if it was going to transition to the loading screen), and it just came back up, no message. That's alright, I thought, I'll try another server... Same thing. Couldn't join any servers.

Re-installed and fixed it, but it was weird.

quan get over yourself. No matter how good you say you are there is someone better so sorry. And I auctaly love the G3 so I dunno what your talking about. It will drop anyone in 2-3 shots, and is extremly accurate. If you don't like it then don't use it.

Question to the BF2 players. When using the M4 Sniper Rifle is it possible to hit an enemy soldier that is staying PERFECLT still? Because in the demo I wasted 2 clips on one guy standing still out in the open and not one shot registered. A guy was prone on a roof and I shot 3 clips and him and I think only one actually hit. So my question is, are the hit boxes/registration GOOD at all?

Lastly: DuoGodOfDeath, it seems you and CWaG are in the same boat with this. For some reason your guy's shots almost never register- I'd check into customer support about it, cause mine almost always do.

Doubt it. If anything the retail version has more bugs than the demo.

Makes since, since it had to go to press 2 weeks before the demo code was finished. Still sucks though. I've kinda gone back to finishing my game of Final Fantasy X in hopes that a patch comes out soon.

bah everyone put teh e-wangs back in teh e-pance.

it's a better GUN than the standard assault guns, you just lose the grenade launcher. for this reason I'd say it's a nice thing to have but not the weapon you should pick as your first unlock, since you'll probably want to switch between it and the standard assault guns depending on whether there are things to launch grenades at. if assault is all you play, then by all means get it, because at least you'll have 2 options when playing assault =p

I'm still happy w/ my medic unlock, hasn't failed me yet. I never play assault, it's just medic with no healing and a little more armor, as far as I'm concerned <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

anti-tank is by far my second favorite class though. rockets are pretty much better for sniping than sniper guns, and they kill vehicles, and the AT uzi kicks some decent **** at close range... AT gun will (almost) definitely be my second unlock...

you can try out all the unlocks in single player if you feel like it. just do this:

this should highlight the line of code

defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]

change all the "0"s to "1"s, so it looks like

defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]

and now press CTRL+S to save.

Note: this only works for single player, this trick works for multiplayer, however, EA Games will ban your CD-Key for a week if they discover you are using this for multiplayer. The badge is the "Meritous Unit Ribbon" which (I think) you get for surviving and helping in an extended firefight. (Medical mainac FTW!)

You need a global score of 1000, which isn't hard if you play all day but BFHQ is sloow to update and I only just got Lance Corporal at 1317 points.
