    WHen I switched the news and heard terrorist attack on london, my initial reaction was "meh, o well"

    metal, they don't lie about casulties, they only report CONFIRMED ones.

    the authoreties don't know wth is going on any better then any one else.

    They make offical anouncements once they KNOW precise numbers.

    Before that they say "x dead, x wounded, we do not know howmany more"

    Its one bus at Tavistock Square as far as I'm aware...

    And Thansal's casualty figures are about as accurate confirmed-wise as we have at the moment, they just gave basically the same stuff on BBC News.

    They even closed Swindon railway station about 9 miles from me. They also had to evacuate it due to a suspect package.

    I wouldn't be surprised...particularly if seriously injured casualties take a turn for the worse...

    They won't give an estimate for the bus fatalities at the moment.

    EDIT: Terminal 3 at Heathrow has just been evacuated, according to BBC News 24 - hasn't said why though. The airports were supposed to carry on unaffected, so it may be a bomb scare? Thats just a guess though...
