Not to completely derail the thread, but anyone have any suggestions for leaving London? Trains down, Buses down (Last I checked), no money for a taxi/flight. No place to stay tonight <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->.

EDIT: Heathrow 3 reopened, they gave absolutely NO information about why it was evacuated or what has happened since, because the BBC rock.

what I am thinking is that we don't have #s from the underground yet, especialy if it was between stations as it takes a long time to evactuate people from there (if NYC MTA is any judge)

Sonic and Insane are Brit, right? I've seen them read the thread, so I assume they're all right. I've seen TheMuffinMan around, too. I know he's from Up North, though.

We hecked out of the hotel around 8:30, walked outside, saw the chaos that was King's Cross, walked back in and asked for a room.

They were booked full. On a lighter note however, we managed to find lodging in a seedy dive nearby. (House of a relative's friend)

    Quality? Hm, possibly.

The only times I go there now is when I have to walk a friend home over the heath (the fieldthing that the lake's on..), as she's scared of walking it on her own. Bless.

I've only been on the actual lake once and I had three girls in the boat. Quality, eh.

Brits don't chicken out unlike "some" of our European neighbours *cough* france/spain *cough*.
Such things only stenghten our resolve, the IRA did far worse and got nowhere. A bunch of halfwits ain't gonna achive **** doing this, all it will do is make people hate muslims and islam even more.

Maybe that's what they want perhaps but at the end of the day muslims are still a minority here.
