Cheeseh, if I'm not wrong, ReadyRoom.org do have a hosting feature for NS related sites, rite? Maybe you can move your site there?
Thanks for the great bot anyway. I'm wondering though, is it possible to programme a code that makes the alien skulk bots rush the marine base continously? Was thinking of a StarShip troopers setting. lol
I'm already getting a web host at houstondod, theyre making an NS community.
I hope I can allow the ability for useres to tell the bot what to do instead of me (scipting perhaps <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->)

Well i recently downloaded and tried the bot. I have a few things about it.
First off i assume the bots were made initialy for offline practice.
I noticed that your skill levels on them seem quite a bit....off. Very hard is what i would consider average. Keep in mind i play high level clans in pubs all the time. Even then on normal pubs there are many that beat the pants of your "very hard"
I suggest re-evaluating your difficulties. I can help you test them out if you want. As it is now i can go into the game, throw 5 marines in, and i can skulk them all with no upgrades. I'm also a VERY bad skulk compared to my buds. I was hoping to get some skulk practice in while i was on 56k for a week but the bot kinda left me hanging. I would suggest upping the accuracy. Also marines seem to have a slow switch to sub weapon when in a critical moment giving you alot of time to kill. They need to switch to a pistol midfight much faster. I've also noticed when you run circles around them they shoot constantly wasting bullets into the air with no good aim at all. The very good bots just don't play very good. They play average to low. Upping the accuracy, speed of moment, and reaction time would help alot.
I also noticed a few little things but im sure you know about them. I only cared about the lack of any difficulty.
the marines need to be able to hear a sound and react to it, that would make them alot better at combating the aliens. This would also help the aliens since if the marines fire a few shots and miss, that alien keeps on going since it never saw you there...
I'd like to practice gorging. Thing is, I want the regular bot match to be going on while I gorge. Thing is, whenever I turn bot command on, I ALWAYS have a gorge buddy.
This is prevented with extremely small teams but then the rines never seem to be able to get a commander.
A way to separate bot gorging and bot commanding would be awesome.
Bah looks like I won't be able to work on the bot for a while.. I need a new HDD, my current one is dieing on me, I can't build the bot sometimes because of it (bad sectors here, there everywhere <!--emo&:angry:--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo--> ) gah.. need a new HDD <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Start a new game, then before you add any bots, type "gorge_percent 0" in the console. That will ensure that none of the bots go gorge.

Cheeseh, why don't you create a new bot topic. That way we have all that spam, old versions, requests, bugs, etc. cleared out. I mean, this has 36 pages of posts...come on.
Hell, this bot could use it's own forum <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
It does have its own forum here: <a href='http://pub80.ezboard.com/brocketcrowbot' target='_blank'>http://pub80.ezboard.com/brocketcrowbot</a> but its poo <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> getting a new webby and forum hopefully soon...
