• Hey so I just got home and magically the game is working, I really have no explanation for what happened to fix it. Not that I'm complaining. I appreciate the insight and I'll keep this all in mind if it rebreaks itself at all.

• I just attempted a deep scan on the game itself, and now the system as a whole with AVG. Didn't really expect that to solve anything, but it was worth a shot ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

• I also ran the PowerShell commands; the restoration completed and the scan turned up no errors.
