I have the same problem for some time now. Completely independent of any controllers or rift attached. In fact this seems to be the exact same behavior that makes the seamoth so unbearable. As long as you move the mouse it is OK, but as soon as you …

Yes, I actually meant "changes made for the oculus". The issue was of course introduced with this patch. The funny thing is that the Oculus behavior is so different that I almost believe the new standard behavior is not related to the Oculus patch at all.(Quote)
It is even worse with Oculus, believe me. This is shouting for a hotfix.
Edit: I have to correct myself. At least in the experimantal build with the oculus the seamoth is fine. The control is exactly how it should be: full co…(Quote)
I am curious how this turns out(Quote)
Exactly. But the anchor breaks and clearing the cache files can fix it.If you haven't done any digging for your base (altered the terrain) I suggest you clear the cache directories. This tends to solve a lot of problems. But make a backup copy of your slotXXXX folder. If you do that, the terrain and the objects are reg…I had it twice when I build my first habitat in the Oculus release. No more problems since then.I see, I wasn't aware that this is an old bug since it didn't happen in the stable march build.
Anyway, this is really just a bug report, I have no problems finding things whatsoever. I just thought I report it.
Thanks for your assistanc…It will be very funny to see people installing powercell rechargers in their cyclopseeses....

Post editing: So we end up adding comments to our own post. I don't see how this makes things less confusing <…That is why I posted this in "Bug Reports". That is where bug report go, right? How do I edit my posts?
Anyway, I wanted to add: What happened in my case is that clearing the cache files seemed to have reversed the current that dragged my lifepod away, so it came back. It is stiull drifting though but exactly towards my h…In fact I had this on the second day playing the Oculus release. First day was flawles, second day freezes and forced reboots and today everything is fine again.
My suspicion is a corrupted save file (or something in it).
Try clearing al…I just had the same problem: Large parts of the mountains and the whole large floating island were missing. I cleared both the Cells and the Compiled Octrees Cache folder. After that the missing geo was back!I use mouse and G13. I like the real "analogue" in put of the mouse it is much more direct. Anyway I didn't say Subnautica is not playable with controler, in fact I did it several hours. But I think it needs some kind of optimization still. I would …Remember the seamoth fragments are now real fragments, not those placeholder container boxes. You have to look a bit for shapes that are new. They are around the wrecks and sometimes at some distance even. Not yet. I read the focus is on controller because the rift ships with one. Which ignores all DK2 owners I'm afraid. Xbox controllers are not even the best input devices for Subnautica. You don't play it standing freely in your room like maybe some …No fragments here too. If they are in wrecks, the wrecks in question have not spawned too
