Not that your idea isn't good, its great actually, but mine was made to be a simple addition that wouldn't require too much work for the devs to implement while your would take a DLC on its own to implement... unfortunately I can't… -

YES! Even the crashfish explosions and Cyclops collisions used to alter the terrain! Of course saving 256 sectors after every playtime over minor bumps would be problematic, but now, the way the game behaves, I can't see much of a … -

Yes, but there are theories that there will be areas where the surface level will be separated from the underwater biome by icecaps, so it would be pretty useful. -

And I always thought that reason to be arbitrary since I was responsable with it and couldn't feel any lag... I think it should be an option or at least avaiable as a downloadable content. -
I wonder if replacing the loading folder to the old batch's folder and filling it with the files from older Subnautica versions would do the trick.
I don't know how complex it would be to restore the saving mechanic of the terraformer, but it … -

Do the devs really look into these? Is there a more direct way to contact them?

Exactely! They would function the same as the power transmiters, but would also power the light, occupying the battery slot.

Dude, that's awesome! I rue the day the devs thought that it was a good idea to make the light stick and flood lights battery powered and not able to be connected via power transmitter. -
There is a green cave in the kelp forest on the way to the array island, near lifepod 3 and it even has a thermal vent nearby (in the strip of shallow land between both kelp forests). The cave is full of silver and mesmers. It is a very tight space …

Just plant a couple of tiger plants on outside growbeds and you should be fine! (until they target you, then you might have some leaks on you base -_-")

Sleep could be like in The Sims: it doesn't matter when, just that you do it, their sleep cycles also change constantly depending of how much and how often you do it. Apart from that, we could have some cognitive penalty, almost like how sanity work…

Playing a new game in stable after the update: my lifepod is my castle. I'm late to my class so I turn everything off and go do my things.Load the game, my lifepod is 2km away from me, in the dunes biome... yeah...

I agree that everyone have its own opinions, and you are right playing the way you do with that mindset, and thats the beauty of this game: you are a sceintist, do the most confy and tiniest base and live like Jacques-Yves Cousteau… -

Yeah, I know, but its half the battle done already.

Also, if you manage to run over them with the seamoth ou punch them with the exosuit, they go away.
I think they die and teleport away because of either lack of death animation or...the devs planned them to go back to the…I think the easiest way around would be only to be able to change the tank's default biome to a previously explored one and have more slots for plants. The devs aren't putting that much effort in extending things that are already ingame (like, if th…You mean stay upside down? That would be disorienting... maybe we could press a specific keyboard key to reorientate ourselves.(Quote)
I can only hope you guys are right. *crossing fingers*(Quote) Terraforming should be an option, since many PC users (myself included) can handle the stress generated by a 3gb savefile, but then again, remove terraforming is the cheapest and fastest way around the badly compressed data on the save fi…I spend hours in this game just admiring the enviroment and trying to determinate the most scenic places to build bases, unfortunately, most of those need terrain manipulation to not mess up with the view.Unfortunately, those 2 bases will be rendered useless after the January update, as it will remove the terrain deformation from the game... very sad. Here is my Safe Shallows base:

Is there a way to prevent future updates to happen? I would like to lock on this version, for now at least.Just a note: I have cleared the game cache as instructed and... I don't know which of those files resets the terrain deformation and now I'm locked out of my biggest base because it was using the cave systems in safe shallows to connect its rooms...…
