You could even have a glass version with that setup.

Unless the shaft is protected by bulkheads at each floor with an exit....
What if the shaft is full of water all the time and the elevator room connects to an airlock built on the floor, then it purges the water in the … -
I would reiterate a point I made earlier in another thread. The cyclops should not be damagable until defensive modules are put in place for it. The thing is too slow and manuvers even slower. The uses for it are limited seeing most exploration o…

- More invertebrates! Where's the jellyfish, octopus, and cephalopods? Most things in the subnautica look as if they have a skeletal structure of some sort. I would think there would be more things that are squishy like aforementioned.

In regards to hurricane/severe storms:
If we liken the weather effects to that of earth, a hurricane is felt up to 300 feet down (92 meters roughly) and can last years. Coral is destroyed from the currents, and the change in salinity fr… -

I like this notion. I could see a generator to help with power consumption and allow electricity flowing through the outer hull, an exosuit dock, a sonar array that could help build a topographic map and serve as a early detection… -
Not as of yet. They need more modules for the cyclops before allowing it to be destroyed by sealife. It would be fine only if there was some way to deter the emperor to some extent. As it stands now, there are no torps, no electric shielding, not…

In real life we wouldn't be on an alien world. Allow a little leeway for quality of life improvements that might open up more time for exploration and less time harvesting powercells to refuel them.... maybe not solar power, maybe an ocean current …

The only thing I don't like is the battery portion. There is solar power in the game so why not power these bouys this way. Allowing the user to focus more on exploration than having to go recharge all the bouys, then recharge the cyclops, then hu…

I would rather see a docking hatch or a series of base modules to be found and built in parts so the player can decide if they want a docking room with a sleeve or a full blown bay or somewhere in between.
Maybe the modules could include… -
This makes sense.. maybe initially they would be carried by the survivor but at some point he'd craft a harness for the tanks so he wouldn't carry them in his inventory.

Kētos latinized as Cetus was used as a term for sea monster. Seems ominous and fitting.

I would also suggest the stillsuit or whatever it is, periodically it gives you some reclaimed water and helps you stay hydrated. -
I was thinking, we have sonar bouys in today's technology, maybe we can have something similar. Implement a map feature that requires a central computer seabase module. This module gives you access to a map of the area. You can then explore to fi…
