The game crashed.
The crash report folder named "2016-11-02_162026" next to game executable
It would be great if you´d send it to the developer of the game!
It happens when I get anywhere near the grand reef though just a few days ago I had no issue going through it.
with my previous post I found that deleting the output log and making the error happen again made a smaller file probably so the error isn't repeating over and over
Though I have been having a few hang ups from lag or freezing not been so bad but as this was from the stable build my last few saved games last about 20 mins then crash
not sure it matters but when I go to steam to load up my game it launches both in vr mode no matter the settings I have it. I don't use steams vr gear. Though for it to launch it in that setting even when I tell it not to makes me wonder.
Eh, upload 'em to Google Drive, that's what I do. You can even add it to your 7-zipped log folder - just open the .7z, then drag the output_log.txt into it.
I've been experiencing some freezes and even crashes lately. Windows had updated lately and I don't know if it has to do anything with these crashes. I've updated video/sound drivers as recommended too. But the game has become unplayable. Please help.
Stopped playing the game because of this, no joy in waiting for a game to respond or crash every few mins. Hope they will find a solution soon, but it's taking quite some time as I see
Hi my subnautica crashes every time i start it after ~15 secounds. I hear the Sound of the Buttons when i highligt them but the visuals froze and i have a messagebox telling me that subnautica is crashed and i may send the crashlogs to a developer so here is a zip Archive with the logs and the Output info and some other Textfiles from the subnautica Folder:
its a OneDrive link and i hope it does function too
i also found some other Crash logs in there so i put them in the rar Archive too
i also read the Crash.dmp file with
Studio (i am a Little programmer) and visual Studio told me that (sorry iam german so the text is german too)
"Der Treaht hat versucht, von einer virtuellen Adresse, für die er nicht die entsprechenden Zugriffsrechte hat, zu lesen oder zu schreiben"
Ill try to make it english: subnautica tryed form a virtuel adress, which subnautica has no right for, to read or write in" [Sorry its bad englisch ]
Hi guys. First of all thank you for making awesome game. It's really amazing.
Now about bugs. I have been playing the game for over 17 hours, and it has been running just fine until now. Now everytime I try to go out and explore I get extreme lag spikes and the game crashes. When i'm changing bioms of just explore Aurora's wrecks. One time i traveled from floating island to safepod 30 minutes with 4 or 5 loades. It doesn't matter what biom or location I'm in now.
Now I have really huge lags (sometimes 5-7 minutes freeze screen). Then it unfreezes and in 30-60 seconds game crashes (it's always like this — lags, freezescreen, unfreeze and then crash). Now it's so annoying so I can't play
Please help me. I love this game but i can't play it.
Here is 10 first crash reports, hope it will help:
(I really hope I'm doing this correctly; this is the first time I've posted to a forum, so please let me know.)
At random times the game will hiccough and stutter before freezing completely; it isn't entirely bad at first, but the frequency increases the longer I play. The sound keeps going (if I'm in the Seamoth the sound keeps going like I'm moving along) but the entire game stops and most of the time comes out of it (only to freeze again later on). The length of time is usually 15-20 seconds, but sometimes it is only a few. Even walking into the Moonpool causes the game to twitch and drop the frame rate in a massive way. It usually unfreezes and I can continue, but it also causes my game to crash from time to time (this also occurs regardless of the graphics quality). Starting a new game (regardless of difficulty) makes it twitchy, but does not freeze; the freezing occurs in my existing game with most of the items discovered.
My system is at the Recommended level and everything is updated; even then, I was able to play this without issue before, so I am at a loss as to why it started doing this.
Using EXPERIMENTAL.
Game crashed on a newly started computer without any other applications running. I had been playing trouble free for a little less than one hour (four hours before restarting computer and starting game again). Game updated in this latest start and crashed.
I drove my seamoth towards my base through Kelp Forest (my base is in the edge of safe shallows), after i explored the koosh zone near the back of the Aurora's engines, then the game freezes multiple times as i approaching my base. Then finally freezes for a couple of seconds when i was directly in front of my base, then the game crashed to desktop.
Dear support team,
I´ve got 3 crashes. My game always crashes when I use the cyclops submarine to dive into deep reef at a depth of about 400-500 metres.
I have on additional problem: In my game solar panels are disappearing sometimes, when a new structre is added to the base. I already send a message via ingame support.
Exept from these errors, the game is fantastic, you are doing a great job. I hope you get on with your work and if possible add a Multiplayer Part. Playing this game with friends would be awsome. :-)
I've been having consistent crashing for the past few days. Its usually when my character is moving, IE: in the cyclops or sea mot. the frame rate will drop off or freeze and then the crash occurs. these three are the first I've been able to upload to pastebin. the other output logs I have are too much and freeze up my browsers. do you have any suggestions on uploading massive logs?
these are my system specs:
AMD FX-9590 4.7GHz and Gigabyte 990FX Motherboard
1 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Video Card
32GB DDR3 1600 MHz (4 X 8GB)
120GB SSD Boot Drive + 2TB 7200 RPM Storage Drive
64 bit windows 10
My game is constantly crashing while I am moving. The game is prone to crash when using the sea mot. Furthermore, the game performance is very poor while using the sea mot.
My System:
Asus Z170 Gaming Pro
Core i7 6700K, not OC
Geforce GTX 1070
Corsair DDR4-3200 16 GB
SSD
64 Bit Win 10.
Was playing Subnautica for a few hours and noticed the solar panel on my base disappeared so i made a new one in the exact same spot. Then i continued to make the rest of my base with about 5 multipurpose rooms all attached. Satisfied i went into my Cyclops and went to the Aurora and looted it for about 2 hours. Then ended up going to the mountain island and found some caves a few hundred meters away that i explored for a couple more hours. After getting the modification station and moon pool i decided to go back to my base near the Lifepod to construct my new findings and noticed a red sillouette of the solar panel that i could see through all terrain and objects. When i got to my base and it started to load in my game stuttered, froze, and then crashed. It would crash whenever i get near enough for it to render.
My game started having problems after I built my first Seamoth. Some of the solar panels on my base keep disappearing (I rebuild them and they disappear again when I build anywhere else on my base). Also, the game starts lagging when I'm in the Seamoth (mostly in the Grand Reef and Grassy Plains Biomes). If I continue in the affected biomes, the game will crash (sometimes with no error, the game will just close down).

I also tried starting a new game, but had the same issues after building the Seamoth. I also tried confirming the game data from Steam, and even deleting and reloading Subnautica.
My game is crashing constantly. It has done so on 11/21/16, 4 times on 11/22, 3 times on 11/23, and the most recent time it has crashed is today, 11/28/16. I don't know what is going on. I've updated all my drivers and I've even updated Java. I don't know why this is happening. After the most recent update came out I was very excited to play the game again and I played more than 5 hours with no real issues until now. Every time I play now, the game crashes. I tried different graphics settings, I've tried restarting my computer... I've checked the game for updates, as well as Steam. I've done everything I could think of. If the minimum specs for PC have changed, then that might be the problem but before my computer met the minimum and I had no problems.
I have an issue after I played Subnautica using OSVR through SteamVR. It worked great but now when I try to launch the game in the non VR mode, it crashes. First vrserver crashes, then subnautica crashes. If I click debug on the vrserver crash, subnautica continues to launch. I'd like to be able to go back and forth, at will. Below are my bug output files. I have everything freshly installed, I even went back to non experimental and tried, complete uninstalls, etc.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, do you have a workaround? I love the game but I can't play it while it suffers this issue.
