Silence does silence the cloaking sound in 1.1 (it did in 1.04 also)
There are 2 types of cloaking the upgrade and then cloaking around a sens chamber.
The cloaking upgrade hasn't changed from what I remember you are still partially visible.
Cloaking around a sensory chamber is very "cool" you don't suddenly become invisible then visble, you sort of fade in and out. Also it is silent all the time.
Devour doesn't take the same amount of time, it depends on your health, a few times i've been devoured with very little health and it was just a few seconds before i died.
Feel free to drop by #naturalselection in IRC and ask Qs there too, usualy a PT around, if there isnt just say 'Khaim' and it will beep me (usualy not doing anything important anyway ^-^.

If so, does that mean adrenaline is no longer an upgrade. And if it still is an upgrade, does adrenaline + being near a movement chamber increase your energy regenration rate even more?
I heard gorges cost more now, how much do they cost?

1) You said that the games are 20 minute ones now. Does that mean the lonely marine/alien hiding in vent problem is eliminated, or do the games just end quicker?

2) Do marines have any new upgrades? 3) Is it worth it to relocate now, or do most of them just stay in base? 4) You can mix and match for up to 3 of any chamber at one hive, 6, and then 9 at 2 and 3 respectively...right?
The new rsr system... can make a game go by in 10 minutes or 2 hours... it all depends on the strategy etc. Marine upgrades have included phase/health pack upgrades. Relocation is the same as before imo. And finally no you cannot mix chambers.

Conversely, how much do the marines generally care about denying the aliens hive areas?
I ask because the game has hitherto largely been about battles over the hive areas (in casual play, at least) and it seems that may not be so much the case in 1.1.

i like that. its kind of like in age of empires or age of kings (i havent got any new games recently) it was easy and very effective to kill all the workers and villagers (mainly bacause they couldn't fight back) thereby denying them the opportunity to get more resources, slowing their expansion, giving you more time to tech up a wipe them out
Does gorge sucking making any sort of noise? It seems an easy counter to gorge-hunting would be to suck out some res (I doubt it would be more than 5 or so to get enough), drop a sensory, then camp there sucking more res while marines run by you, unaware of your presence. Of course, this all depends on your team's desire for sensories as the first chamber.
