Katarn: you lighting really looks kind of bland and washed out. It might have been the way that you converted the screenshots for posting, but it still looks like it needs adressing. Also some of your textures don't go well together. (Basically wall lab and the nos_ texture you're using, as well as the grate/hazard strip from ns2.wad) Some of your hallways look bare, and the ceiling is a bit flat in some of your shots. It also could use something to break up the texture on the ceiling. You have a good start here, just need to work on the lighting and your ceilings. While you're at it you might want to add some more to the walls in the fourth screenshot, and find something besides cheesy crates to fill up the fifth one. (that or put in more stuff to make that look like a storage room)

mendasp. I think the ladders look fine but there does look like there's alot of ladders in that particular room. you could use wall panels or something similar to bridge the gap?
Ok, I haven't been able to connect to PQ ftp for the past few days so these shots are uploaded elsewhere and i don't know for how long. They show 2 new shots of the marine spawn and the computer core worked on a bit more.

I like the curved walls you use in your architecture. The fence in the last shot with the red lights give a nice touch of detail just like the wiring and pipes on the ceiling, but I do have some small suggestions:<ul><li>The screens above the cc, they look good but are kind of in a odd location. Just imagin having to read the stuff on there without a ladder. The other screens intergrated in the walls and the ones hanging from the ceiling look nice tough.</li><li>The "pods" look great, and I assume you're going to make them transparant? that would look awesome.</li></ul>Keep it up...
[edit] Just noticed something, the light close to the cc near the floor does have a light effect, but the texture itself is dark...
Nice work there Card0 - but as Kouji said those screens above the CC could do with angling down a little, and some of your light sources seem a little undefined.
cheers guys. The marine screens are angled but maybe not enough as you say. It was my idea that the commander could recline in his little chair thing and watch some TV or something, perhaps i can lower them down a bit and have cables above them or something.. As for the lights without sources, it's something that i need to find/make an additive thing for. because i'm using targetted spotlights they don't cast any light backwards onto the light texture but i will sort it before the final. The cryo tubey things were clear before but i couldn't figure what mode it was to make the glass not-glow. i thought it was Texture you're supposed to set it to but obviously not so i scrapped that and made them just look frosted over. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
