Looks nice 'n' hostile, so many maps just have an infested hive room it'll be nice to see the graduation of infested corridors into a hive for a change.

The reason is that people have been complaining about Marines not having enough space to build in that hive. So I decided to keep the floor clean, but maybe I'll add a small pile right under the hive or something.

Looks interesting, nice idea you have - but it looks from the size of that hive room like it could end up being one big marine shooting range (although you can't really tell without seeing the rest of the map). Something to watch out for.
I agree about the size but I really like the creeper-curtain surrounding the hive. It's like it's tucked up all nice and warm when BAM! siege cannon shots rip through its precious little cot-like surroundings.....

On the map im making (the one with the draped hive) I put a func_ladder on the ground, and if you fall down there you walk slow and cant jump <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo--> Awesome deal for skulks, terrible for onos, fades will have no problem, just jump and blink.

I like those first three screenies but the others need more colour to them, I like the absence of light in the level though. I hope you haven't changed the atmosphere too radically.
