you guys need to coordinate so all these extra models are put together in one folder that all the maps link to otherwise we are gonna have duplicates of them for every map which is gonna take up loads of hard disk space and waste alot of time in downloading.
Oh yeah, keep in mind that None of these are *actually* textured yet. I only threw on a temporary Rust/Metal texture just to give it some kind of color.

How about a marine that's like stuck to the wall in some kind of web? And then in like the hive room have tons of them, and have them hanging from the ceiling.

Hey guys, looks like the custom section has produced some amazing work again. nice on guys. i look forward to playing the maps with this stuff on..
And about those Tvs, or screens hanging form the walls etc wud be cool to have them flicker on and off with static.
Is it possible for like bits of a video to be played on them with static in between. Err let me explain. If anyone has seen Event Horizon, where they get to the Event horizon ship and go through the logs to see what has happen they find that pretty horible video of the crew, but they cant rely tell what it is because of the satic and poor picture.. something like that would be very cool, plus scary to the map
What about small silly things like empty Frontiersman helmets, an empty boot near a vent, that sort of stuff? Not really bodies per se....
Also, noone doing anything with transparency? Like seethrough map panels, or Aliens style stasis cylinders with research specimens in them? Dissected skulk?

it doesnt replace anything its a world model that mappers should use and you can have it if you want its just if you make a map like that its not going to become a official map

I'm not good with modelling but I can hack things together sometimes, I think I'll try to make the pile of marine helmets.

It would sit perfectly on the floor when the commander drops ammo

Just to clarify, why can't official maps have marine bodies on the ground? Is this for censorship reasons? (did I miss something or is the game not filled with dead marines anyway? Because I've killed at least one :))
