    think by yourself: are 7 lightbrushes necessary? in ONE corner? thats why it doesnt look too good. the compiled shots look very nice. only thing missing is some more different light colors.

    im reading about func ilusionary with null and the front face we put the shine light of the wall and texturelight this shine and not the wall with light. i will use this on the lower corridor. and i read about particle system and see the example maps very nice efects and mroe simple rain and steam efects. have any place show how make a fog with particle systen or ihave to trying on hand the values of the ps? and how me make a efect like raining but from the wrong way come from floor to roof with ps for my magnetic field loader bay to get the steel barrels from loadelevator?

    you have got some nice arches there. but maybe you should wait for hl2. you wont hve much fun with the hl1 engine, using this architecture in a ns map. thats the horror for the compiling tools and a waste resources.
    you should try to detail the walls, floors and ceiling by breaking them, create supports that fit. not just make a hollor cube / cylinder and putting crazy architecture in it.

    one question: is there any problem so you cant set full stops in your sentences? I admit that my englsih isnt that good, too, but at least the people reading my post understand what I mean. please, carioca, also work on your english skills.

    Carioca, I have a proposal for you-

    I'll assist you with the lighting (I am fairly competent at texture + entity based lighting) in return for you showing me how the hell you got some of those shapes to work! I just can't figure em out (keep getting invalid solid errors when I try 0o')


    Another one- would you like to work on a joint project? I'm having doubts that I can finish my map as an NS map before I have to go to college... and I don't want to have to release it as just a CO map... and you seem pretty damn skilled now with the vertex manipulation / brush slicing (lol, temporarily forgot the name of the darn tool) tool... what do ya say?
