This demo isn't completely conclusive, but it is suspicious, both in the way he reacts to the aliens and the way he reacts to people watching him and commenting. Apparently CAL has other demos and complaints to supplement this one anyway.

Only problems I've noticed in the competitive community are problems that affect any community. Individuals that make the group look bad, and trouble likes company. An arrogance that makes everyone else seem inferior. There's nothing in this community that makes it any different than any other body of people.
This entire thread is why I don't play NS anymore. You are going to see jerks all over the place regardless if he plays in a clan or not, can't you accept that sometimes people are jerks, not because they play a certain way, but because they're just simply a moron? That guy was probably just being sarcastic, because when I got heavy into clans everyone was sarcastic, but when you talked on ventrillo they were generally nice guys,
This stupid childish civil war between people who like organized play versus those who would rather be casually playing needs to cease, its really stupid and everyone involved just ends up getting hurt over something stupid.

For example a server that has res slot holders to prefered players (which is elitist, because not everyone has an oppurtunity to receive said status), usually, but not always feel they can treat non res-slot holders with less respect. I have found this apparent on servers I used to be a reg on. Admins are more susceptible to this because if there is any opposition they can just ban the individual without listening to logic.
Same thing goes with competitive players, if they come from a high rank clan, (or even a low ranking clan) they can be ****.
This applies to me. I've admit I've been a jerk on some servers, but people have been jerks to me as well without justification. The best thing a person can do is acknowledge their mistakes and correct them. And I see the competitive community for the most part cleaning up their act. It is no where near as bad as when it was when I played competitivly in 1.04.
Its all relative to percieved status in a said community. Those with higher status are more likely to get away with breaking the rules, or actually creating them. This screws over people without status in a community. I've seen people with status provoke those without status so they would get banned. Kinda sad in a way, but that is life.

This comment is without reference to anyone in this thread, it's just a general concept to ponder -
You can't judge your achievements by other people. If you hold your own behaviour up to scrutiny and go "Well, at least I wasn't as bad as *****" or similar, then you are setting some really crappy standards for yourself.
