Ok, I have no patience to read thropugh 67 pages of garble to figure out where the status of this project is (as fun as it would be to waste 5 hours). First of all I have a few (already stated) comments:
The original nancy was a combination of Very Poor Texturing and Very Good Texturing, for example the port engine hive used a "supposed to be seethrough" grating texture as the floor, there were lift textures used as wall ones, and then the whole bag of proverbial onos stuck issues.
This, however, was one of my favorite maps because of its layout, and a few key sections that were done very well, like the entire messhall to marine start bit, but the unnamed hive was alway slacking in detail, plus the lighting was very poorly put together, those little lighted texture boxes everywhere.. very cheesy.
If someone could go over the key details of where the project is at, and if you do need help still, and what kind thereof.
Ok, here's how to get an update on the status of the map:
1) Open up the thread about ns_nancy, if you're reading this, you've already done this, so good job. 2) Go to the last page of that thread. If you're reading this, you've done that also, double points. 3) Go through this page, look for comments by Lazer, DarkATI, and WolfWings. These are the mappers working on the project. 4) Read any comments they have made, if you find no status updates on this page, look at the one preceding this. From there go back to step 3 until you find the latest update.
It's really not hard, you don't even have to read sixty someodd pages of "OMG OMG OMGZORS NANCYZORS w00t w00t W00T!!!!!1111!!1!!!!onelever", just one or two. If you don't have enough patience to do this then you may want to reconsider mapping.

Ns_Nancy is doing fine. It has some kinks that we need to flush out but other than that it is coming along great. We have had and are experiencing some delays still because WWs uses Radiant and the .map format doesn't do well in the editor other than the one it was created in.

Patience, mapping requires a huge amount of effort and time. And if you're making it in pieces with more people, it gets tougher. Aaaand, if you're making an exact copy of something, by only having perception (no plans) to back you up, well... It's TOUGH. And QuArK users still make a certain percentage of the forum users. Radiant users must find something very special about this editor. Few people use it, but those who did say that they liked it. For Half-Life they switched to Hammer or QuArK, but then Half-Life support was added and - Edgecrusher - noone could assume that the texture coordinates exported by Hammer and Radiant are so different that they don't work together. For me Radiant does not sound like trouble. It sounds like 'cool, another editor to try'. But it is late here, I just might be writing that unintelligent stuff you always say when it's late. I didn't even want to write that much, I just wanted to say that everyone has his/her reasons.
