Fixing the issue with the menu is simple.
Soulution is deleting both LUA folder (Steam\steamapps\common\natural selection 2\core\lua and Steam\steamapps\common\natural selection 2\ns2\lua) after that verify the game cache. -
Yesterday I was able to spent many hours in NS2 without issues today I have problem to enter a gorge tunnel as marine and as gorge -_- and freezes.

Hmm new issue which I did not had before...

Sound was fine I was able to hear the people, but the picture was freezed. The log shows memory leaks.Er…

what do you see, if you start Steam through a Terminal? If you start Steam through a terminal you will got mutch more information. -

the most verbose options is to start Steam through a terminal than you will see everything and hopefully also the problem. -

I am using ArchLinux x86_64 and the FPS are good, but it feels laggy, delaying. It is the same under GameLauncher aka Windows. DX9 fine, DX11 finer and OpenGL laggy and much lower FPS.

I found for this problem yesterday a solution in an other thread. Just delete both folder:
Steam\steamapps\common\natural selection 2\core\lua
and
Steam\steamapps\common\natural selection 2\ns2\lua
after that verify the game… -

most of the times it helps if you start Steam through the Terminal and than start NS2. In this case every output will be shown in this Terminal and so you can see why the game is not loading I would guess because of missin… -
