as much as i love this idea i think the devs are are likely to be in a nursing home by the time it is implemented...
also if it makes you feel better them sea treader's poop out new basalt apparently, i mean it's not very useful but hey … -
i personoally would like to see a habitat ejector, where you could set a limit on the number of creatures within a habitat, and it would automatically eject any extras into the ocean.

they still have gravity though, the issue is the distance of the fall roughly speakking the gravity is stilll 1G ish (i cant legit measure it) but that means that it would still do fairly decent damage after 3 m falling down.
