    lucky for them that it was a TF2 themed cosplay then <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Those are pretty good quality, honestly.
    And for the record:
Crossplay = cosplay, but you are the wrong sex for your character. A few of those images have crossplay.

Basically any that have women in them, since TF2 doesn't. omg TF2 is sexist! BAN!

... and where's the token asian guy, huh? HUH?!

Where is the black demoman? THIS SURE SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT VIDEOGAING INDUSTRIES.
    Discuss.
    -
Did they all just decide that they wanted to do it, teams individually? Is there some competition going on that I can be linked to?

It's spontaneous (at least as far as I know). It's like all the hubbub about the Companion Cube. Valve just makes stuff that people really, really love.

Industrial Light & Magic could be the winner. (as a whole)

    Edit: Arh... can't choose though.

I'd say their weapons are best, plus the intelligence briefcase is a nice touch. No soldier or demo though.
  • AbraAbra Would you kindly Join Date: 2003-08-17 Member: 19870Members
Yeah that was what caught my eyes, the intel on the scout.

And their heavy is way off. Shot's a bit cramped, too, should space out a bit.

"Fixed exploit that allowed players to teleport with the intelligence"

Uhm exploit? If you have a teleporter entrance in a location where the intelligence carrier can get to from within the enemy their own base. Isn't that a mistake the enemy team has made. How is that an exploit <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
  • AlignAlign Remain Calm Join Date: 2002-11-02 Member: 5216Forum Moderators, Constellation
Because when you teleport you drop the intelligence case if you're carrying it. Unless you used said exploit, I suppose.
  • lolfighterlolfighter Snark, Dire Join Date: 2003-04-20 Member: 15693Members
Exactly. By design, you're not supposed to be able to teleport with the intelligence. The intelligence is intended to be carried manually (or rather vertebrally) from the enemy base to your base. Thus, if you manage to take the intelligence along with you through a teleporter, that's an exploit (intentional or not) of a bug or error in the game's code.
  • Kouji_SanKouji_San Sr. Hινε Uρкεερεг - EUPT Deputy The Netherlands Join Date: 2003-05-13 Member: 16271Members, NS2 Playtester, Squad Five Blue
I haven't played CTF much, let alone using a teleporter when carrying the intel. Didn't know it dropped when you teleported, since I haven't seen a teleporter entrance in the enemy base to use on the rare occasion I have the intel...

So yeah, if you can teleport with it when not supposed to <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

if your team can get an engineer all the way to the enemy flagroom, set up a teleporter, and defend it, I think you earned a free ride back to your base for the flag carrier...

of course, getting 2 engies there is better

    2 turrets, a teleporter too/from and 2 dispensers <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

    yup.

    So, random note.

Any one else feel like running around screaming "You can't catch me! I'm the gingerbread man!" after a particularly good run as scout? (It helps if you read Jasper Fford's books)
