Sure it takes up a lot of screen space and probably needs a little reduction, but how is it an 'absurd answer'.
Yes, all the classes are offensive - but when was the last time you saw a Gorge running into Marine Start and taking down IPs and Sentry Turrets. Yeah, it never happens.
The only time Gorge is prevalent in fighting situations is.
# When he is caught off guard # Runs in to take down buildings near the end of the game # Jumps around like crazy, which at the moment is ridiculous and makes him extremely hard to hit
The Gorge is always on the back burner, heal spraying Fades or dropping Hydras on the front line.
Most Gorges I fight run away, but there is usually a Skulk close by.
If the Fade's view was as bad, I would have an issue because it is a melee class.
As for being underpowered, half the game is not even in yet. So what is the point of saying this? From what we know, the Gorge will be involved with DI. That is a big 'support' role.

I think the Gorge's mouth should be completely closed so that they have to navigate entirely by the minimap and alien-sight alerts. He doesn't need to see in order to heal or build hydras, so I don't see how this could possibly be a problem. Also, this would further reinforce that the Gorge is a support alien, not an offensive one.
See how I twist your logic like a pretzel? DO YOU SEE?
Ok, this really isn't a huge issue to be honest, I just don't understand what the point of contention is here. It is not a major issue at all, hardly a priority. What it is, is annoying. Annoyances make the game less fun. We want this game to be fun, right? Why do you hate fun?
Really looking forward to the next patch, sounds like a lot of good fixes in there.
this may not be huge issue but it is nonetheless. its important the gorge view point doesn't block so much. But I do like your idea, having his mouth closed like in NS1, this way we can actually see the whole screen. Or rising his upper mouth more up like skulks mouth, giving him wider screen look.

here you can see ns1 gorge view point, look how much of the screen is visible, nothing goes unnoticed. I should of link these two point views before so people can compare, and see the problem better. I don't think we need to see gorge view through his mouth.
This is true for marines, and their bulky weapons in NS2 compared to NS1, too.
In all cases, definitely too much of the screen is covered; for the marines, they have the ammo counters so it's somewhat necessary (although the model could still be reduced quit comfortably), but the aliens don't really have the same excuse.

Just want to say a Microphone hotfix is very important! If some people speak their voice goes from like 10 to 100 and 1000 its very annyoing if you play and somebody talk his voice goes like 10 times louder then your ingame sound.

At the beginning of every week, Pivotal Tracker automatically moves all tasks marked as "Accepted" to the Completed queue. The Progress page doesn't view the completed queue. This is why things seem to go *poof* every Monday.

Click once to place, click a second time after moving the mouse to set facing direction, moving the mouse after the first click displays a cone of fire which updates as you track it around.

Haven't played CoH, but it's probably similar to DoW2 (same engine & company).
Good example @ 7:30.
