Awesome! And I hope pSyk0mAn agrees to letting his map become official :)
So, by my count, that would potentially make 4 official maps on release right now (ns2_rockdown2, ns2_tram, ns2_mineshaft, and ns2_summit)?

@Cory: That is some seriously good news! I'm really glad you guys are looking at including it in the official maps. I hope you can share some tid bit of upcoming features and offer advise to him so he can tune it for the unreleased stuff.
@Bob: I don't see why he wouldn't want it to be official. It's not like UWE would call it their own (i.e. Not give credit). Hell, if I was psycho, I'd be flattered to have it get the "Official Seal of Approval". Also, Considering they have three mappers, Sgt Barlow, Olmy, and Insane. I suspect we'll see more than four maps at launch.

I'd agree, but I've heard about mappers who don't let their maps become official because they don't want the devs make changing they don't like to their maps. Mappers can sometimes be unusually protective and particular about how/who uses their maps.
Also, I'd suspect they'd have more than 4 maps, but I'm currently just counting maps that have either been officially confirmed or officially talked about as being considered. I guess I should include ns2_junction in that list, but it seems to be the neglected child of the NS2 map collection, so I'm unsure if UWE will keep it.

Well, afaik junction was just a simple alpha-stage map to try out different game mechanics in a small environment. it would be disastrous for gameplay to actually try to play that map.

Last I checked anyways, they're actually stronger than in NS1. But it's been a few versions since I looked at the numbers.

I expect the mandatory team damage bug for this task! Nothing like slapping a Gorge on his belly with a Drifter or two :D

Exo suits
Onos
New version of infestation
Or even when are we likely to see some preview video? My expectations for the exo suit are so high ><

Good things come to those who wait :)
Can't take much more of this approximately 3 bottles of flamethrower fuel to clear 1 patch of DI!!.
