It is now day five! Post away!
Both fish, Snidely and SaltzBad, stared at each other, each unwilling to move or speak. Snidely was confused. I always trusted SaltzBad. Surely, he did not do this.. However, the evidence went against him. SaltzBad was quite literally drenched in blood, and the corpse of BadKarma was torn and broken in a dozen places. He was panting heavily, and had three shallow scratches along his left flank. Snidely just did not know what to think, and was glad to see the rest of the fish arrive and take in the scene.
“What the hell is this?” asked lolfighter, as he brushed through the weeds. “What do you think it looks like?” asked Snidely angrily. Several other fish entered, and gave gasps of horror. “SaltzBad, you better have a really good explanation for this…” said lolfighter. SaltzBad looked at him, but did not say anything. He had a pained expression on his face, almost as if he could not talk. After several seconds of uneasy silence, he finally spoke in broken English. “It was…. here…” he stammered. “The eyes… so… so… red.” He gave a sigh and then collapsed, landing lightly beside the corpse of BadKarma. “He’s in shock”, explained Quaunaut. “I suggest that we take him to the castle and wait for him to get a hold of himself.” “But, he killed BadKarma!” shouted im lost. “Why don’t we finish this right now?” “I, for one, trusted SaltzBad. The least we can do is give him the time to explain himself”, said PlanetKiller, an air of lawfulness in his voice. “If, after he explains all of this to us, then he is found guility…” he let it hang in the air. “Right, take him away to the castle”, ordered lolfighter. “You two”, he said, pointing at Freak83 and Xentor. “Stay with him. When he wakes up, give us a shout. If he tries to escape, stop him.” With that, the two fish picked up SaltzBad by the neck and pulled him away, taking care to drag him over every rock in sight.
Ten minutes later, and SaltzBad was safely inside the castle and under guard. “Well, at least one good thing came from all this”, said Xentor. “Oh, what’s that?” asked Freak83. “We’ve found where all our food got to”, he said, pointing towards a pile of blue pellets hidden away in the corner of the small room. “Brilliant…” Freak83 said dryly. “We have more pressing issues at hand, if you’ve not noticed.” “I know that”, “And? Any ideas?” “At the moment? Not many. I don’t particularly trust SaltzBad, and lolfighters reluctance to kill him really grates on me.” “Why?” “Well, he didn’t show much restraint with Sky, did he?” “I suppose not.” “What about you? Any thoughts?” “Well, I trust lolfighter and I trusted SaltzBad. I’ll wait until he wakes up and gives us his side of the story before we do anything about it.” “Fair enough, I suppose. I wonder what the others think of all this…”
“God dammit! They took our castle!” ZeroByte said, angrily. “Aww, no need to throw a tantrum”, chided Pithlit. “They need it just a little bit more than we do…” “Yeah, but our whole food stock was in there!” he shouted, “What are we going to do now?” “I guess we could go and play with the fan”, suggested Soul Rider “After what happened to Isamil? No way!” “No need to worry. lolfighter fixed it up.” “Well, in that case”, “Come on! Lets go!” The three fish darted off into the distance.
The rest of the fish were in the clearing, collecting food and talking. “lolfighter, what are you doing?” asked im lost. “Pardon? I don’t quite follow you”, he responded. “Well, you were pretty quick on the ball when it came to accusing and killing Sky. Why show so much restraint with Saltz --?” Quaunaut cut him off. “Do I hear the faint rumblings of mutiny?” he asked, as he started towards [b]im lost. lolfighter was quick to get between the two. “It’s hard to explain, but I’ll give it a go anyway”, he said. “This whole thing reeks of a set up. Sky was always dangerous, but SaltzBad has been a friend of all of us for a long, long time. I really doubt that he is dangerous, so we can afford to let him live long enough to hear his side of the story. What if something else attacked them? Hell, for all we know, those things are still out and about. SaltzBad deserves a chance to explain himself.” “Well said”, PlanetKiller whispered in his ear. “I still don’t agree with you, lolfighter. I say we finish him off now, before he has a chance to escape and do some more damage”, said im lost. “Just stop worrying. Xentor and Freak83 have a very close guard on him. No one is going to get in or out, including SaltzBad.”
SaltzBad woke up slowly. His body ached all over, and his head felt dizzy. He was resting on something cold and hard. As his eyes started to focus, he made out a gray wall in front of him. The castle. I must be in the castle.. He tried to move his head, and managed to shift it a fraction of an inch before he felt a stabbing pain in his neck. He stopped and took a deep breath, trying to take in his surroundings. Right, we need to get up and explain to the others what happened. lolfighter and Quaunaut are reasonable. With any luck, they will believe me, and we will have found yet another one of those [I]things. He tried once again to shift his weight, and managed to roll over.
From his new position on the floor, he could see much more of the room. There were no decorations, just gray walls on top of a gray floor, underneath a gray ceiling. In one corner, he noticed a large pile of Blue Pellets. He could feel his strength coming back to him, and with another push he got himself upright. He started to swim slowly and painfully towards the pile of pellets, desperate for something to eat.
He finally reached the pile, and picked out a blue cylinder from the top. He bit in to it with relief. He briefly noticed that it was chicken flavoured, but he did not care – to him, it was the nicest thing that he had ever eaten. Feeling a lot more hopeful about his situation, he quickly turned around. What he saw made him crash back to rock bottom – he was going to die.
He could not make out much detail, but he clearly saw the large black silhouette – it near enough completely filled the room. He could also clearly see the two, slanted, blood red eyes as they came nearer and nearer. Just as the fish lunged, SaltzBad managed to get a look at the fishes open mouth – It was long, pointed with sharp teeth, and was completely covered in a fine black powder. It seemed to be pulsating in time to the fishes heartbeat.

That is SaltzBad's list of people not to trust, minus BadKarma, who is dead. I haven't talked with any of these people much this game, so I don't really know which two of them to suspect. So, until I get more information, semi-random vote for ZeroByte (not completely random because I'm choosing from a small group of people).

Since my vote was random between the four of them, and Quaunaut voted for the same person as me, I'm moving my vote to Snidely. Since we don't have a definite wolf to lynch, the best thing to do is make the day last longer and hope for more information.
Ok, well two have a vote already, and I don't feel like voting for myself, since I already know who I am. Quaunaut.
So let's figure this all out and lynch the wolves so I can get a cool sig banner
I know little about Xerotan and less about Zerobyte. I can't really make a direct judgement about them.
About Q...well, I've suspected him, but looking back, I don't know. He reacted a bit strangely to pressure. The chat about Omega was odd, but not incriminating. Both Sky and BK jumped on Lolly's vote for Q on day 2. I'm going to risk assuming he's a human, although I could be wrong; and if I am, I'll get a day wasted on me.
So, I'll vote for either X or Z, until someone provides more info.
Ehh.. okay, I guess I'm kind of a pariah for now (or pirranha, hur hur hur). I can't do anything to prove conclusively otherwise especially with the seer's death. However, I am going to be consistent and vote for Snidely. From the beginning I've had my doubts about him sooo yeah.
By breaking the list down from four to two two's (me and Q. X and Z), it should speed up this end-game, as long as the psychic is guarded tonight. Unless each wolf has sided with a human.

HEELLPPP!!!
My ADSL modem is causing my computer to crash, everytime it tries to connect to the line the PC shuts down. This means i can only jump on while at work (unofficially). Going to place a semi random vote for this, and will try not to get caught using the net at work
Quaunaut: some sort of suspicion of ZeroByte ZeroByte: suspicious of Snidely Xentor: random vote Snidely: believes Quaunaut is human, stated that it is him and Quaunaut or ZeroByte and Xentor
All of that is based on what was said "today" in the thread. Snidely's idea makes some sense, though mostly because he chose to put it that way. All of the votes fit the pattern, at least.
well, i think im voting for Quanaut then. But lately averyone is absolutly inactive, so i don´t really have a clue

In an update, i think my motherboard may be bolloxed so until i can confirm if it's the modem or the MB i may not be able to get onto IRC at all.
If the humans have any clue what is actually happening, there are 2 wolves left, and 4 people to choose from. So in that case, a human win is guaranteed. The only question is how many humans will be alive when the game is over.
If any of those assumptions are wrong, then it's probably a guaranteed wolf win at this point. I'm willing to hope that we're right about the wolves being in that group though.

Bearing in mind that the wolves have been narrowed down to 4 suspects out of 10, even with 2 misses today and tomorrow, and 2 wolfings, we will be down to 2 wolves and 4 humans.
That in itself is more than enough for a human win, providing the wolves are actually in the 4 suspects we have.
