I like the idea of putting a 'back' space on the paper doll, not necessarily for an air tank. Could be used for a backpack (additional storage), a jet pack (for above surface flying), or even the SeaGlide for automatic fast swimming (no need to be …

Why not mount it on the Cyclops in place of the horn? Area effect around the Cyclops would stun smaller nearby fish and temporarily scares away the larger ones. Any large aquatic life caught in the direct path of the sound wave would be stunned (m…

I think you meant 'crisis averted', and not the gardening simulator disguised as a shooter (Crysis series).

My Cyclops is named the RV Atlantis (name of the deep submergence support vehicle owned by the Navy), which holds my Seamoth (with 4 depth upgrade modules) DSV Alvin. Named after the manned deep-ocean research submarine owned by the N…

I was thinking more of large expandable external storage pods (filled by using the Exosuit to mine/capture/collect) and can be jettisoned to float to the surface for later retrieval. This way, you can fill up the pod and ditch the… -
I have to disagree with your opinion of the islands. While they seem like a safe haven, there's no food or water on them and no fragments to advance our tech. Other than a place to stand while catching our breath, the islands offer no help at all.…

I agree with you 100% on this one. We're given too much information from the start when using a Rescue Pod PDA. It shouldn't have plans for just the Cyclops. It might contain a pre-installed database of 'survival' vehicles; a la… -
I feel that researching fragments, exploring new biomes and accessing the Aurora's computer core directly will drive the story. Other than scripted events (the Aurora blowing up), this puts the pace of the story in the player's hands.

Love the idea/concept. My only suggestions would be to add a Terraforming module (with a larger AOE) for deepsea mining operations and external storage pods.

The Aurora took an arrow to the knee. That's why it crashed. -

I second this idea. Plus, as part of the base power system, it could act as a 'battery backup' for the base in a low power situations (run lights, pumps, etc.) -

You make a good point about the potential preparation of the Aurora. The fragments would suggest that there were plans for underwater exploration and habitation. The fragments are pieces of the technology that scattered from the … -

To use the Star Trek system of planet A-Z classification, how many planets (Class M, capable of supporting human life with a breathable atmosphere) do you suppose there are? IF a Class M planet was discovered, but 95… -
Other survivors of the Aurora? No thanks. Lootable bodies? Yes, please! Maybe a way to introduce more story elements.

TERRAFORMING. One might assume with with the Terraformer tool, which can make islands and other landmasses, that when the planet is terraformed for colonists, there will be continents for people to live upon. They won't be l… -
Maybe there'll be an arms locker in the Aurora that will have guns, bombs, etc. However, since the Aurora was on a terraforming mission, most of the weapons (if not all) would be designed for use in an air environment. So, you could stand on an is…

No. You're a dumb.
I like the variety of warheads you've listed, and that each one has a specific function. My question is mainly how do you see managing the loadout (or changing which torpedo to fire) in an emergency? Can you mix the … -
Thought of this a while ago, but finally put the idea into words (and images).

Personally, I love the survival mode of Subnautica. While constantly farming food and water is a pain, it feels like I'm on the edge of civilization trying to stay alive. That being said, the mechanics needs some real attention. Once you have a r…

My brain has been churning out ideas overtime, so I figured I'd get them out before I lose them.

Will there be a counter defense implemented against it? Maybe something for the suit to lessen the effects of electrocution?

Was thinking about room devices/specific room idea, and a kitchen unit would be a benefit. Taking a wall area (like a reinforcement or window), the robo-kitchen would cook fish and plants into food to stave off hunger/thirst. The unit would be two…Things I would like to see in Subnautica:- Random weather patterns/effects that force you to dive/live deep (60m+) for a limited duration. Any structures on the surface and less then 60m below water take damage.
