Its hard to say, so many factors. I put 8 minutes, but now thinking through it, I would say 5, because at that point *some* mistakes can be overcome, and I have had a chance to see most of the variables that will dictate the game

I think we are saying the same thing, though I don't see onos's dying easily on the US servers to 3 marines. The onos's will typically kill 1-2, run away (because they have charge at 2 biomass), and rinse & repeat.

Nordic, good points. Is the exo supposed to be more about killing structures? That's also the job of arcs should aliens be dug in. It just seems that exo's do not really have ANY role anymore. Jetpacks / shotguns / GL's are better for taking out…

Because the FT is designed to kill structures quickly, the marines can easily kill a hive very quickly, typically before a second one is built, and can take down a hive faster then aliens can take down a chair.
Marines …The vents are not always visible in the map, some vents exist but the map does not show it (I think this happens during the map design, and the map creator forgets to add it to the mini-map - but just guessing).
Other vents can be diffic…I just ignore KingKahuna, TacticalGamer for this reason. IbisGaming only kicks you if you join after 20 iirc, but doesnt kick you in game, so I have played this server a bit if I can get in.

FT's rarely go alone.
Skulks are blinded by the flames thus making attacks difficult.
Lerks dare not engage a flamethrower given their ability to suck energy, and lack of need to aim by the marine (low energy lerk…Great thought process, overall I agree with nearly everything you put here.

Flamethrower is overpowered
Jetpacks move entirely too fast .I have finally gotten fade down. I don't like the drop in damage as I think it is a bit nerfed for the 40 + upgrade res required, but after learning it, it is not as bad as people think.(Quote)

The 32 Onos Bar was a great server, I enjoyed it just like I enjoyed the 16 player server…AttachedJust played again and got the crash, took a screenshot from some of the minidump file...

When it does crash, it asks if I want to submit (which I do), but I don't know where those files are located?
There is no other output from NS2, just the crash program that begins.
