But for the record, the worst movie was fear dot com.

Figured I'd give it a shot because I rented it with a gift certificate. It's a rip off of the Japanese version of the Ring, by some production company who apparently never expected someone else to do a direct remake, thus making theirs look foolish and amazingly bad.

Predicting that a new movie will be crap is not really a challenge. Even I can do that.

xXx wasnt THAT bad, but just don't try thinking about a) The acting b) The script c) The actors. If you do, you will immediatly fall to the ground laughing as you realize the writers made every non-Diesel character immensly stupid as to try to make Vinn himself look smart (but he is still stupid, see the twist?).

    Actually, I quite liked it.

It's a pretty good action movie if you just watch it for the enjoyment of the movie. However, if you're the type who sits in the theatre and criticizes every little insignificant detail, you probably won't like it. Yeah, it's got a few unbelievable parts and situations that are simply "too convenient", but they're minor nits to pick.

I watch an action movie to see guns blazing, high-speed chases, and stuff getting senselessly blown up. xXx fits those requirements nicely. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Besides, it's a Vin Diesel flick. What, were you were expecting something akin to a Bond-quality movie? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Fast and the Furious! ARG!!!!

It came out, then EVERY person in my whole school thought it was SOOOOO 'cool' and they suddenly knew EVERYTHING about street racing. I have people come up to me on a regular basis, STILL talk about how awesome it was then look dumbfounded when I say I didn't like it.

(maybe they EVERY person thing was an exageration, I mean I know a few of my friends think it's whack too)

The worst movie that I've ever voluntarily sat through would have to be 13 Ghosts. 2 words: Matthew Lillard. I've never seen this guy in a movie that could be classified as even remotely good. He sucks. It's like his sole purpose in life is to star in movies that suck as some kind of warning device for the general public.

Anyways, this movie sucked. Any script writer who willingly allows the line "I've got enough explosives here to bomb this place back to the stone age" or some other similar drivel should be fired and blacklisted. The plot sucked, too. Some guy built a giant mechanical house out of indestructable glass so that he could control some 'mystical' eye that let's him see into the future. The guy 'died' (ooh, yah, big surprise there) and left the house to his nephew and 2 kids. Anyways, his son gets lost in the house, and they find out that the uncle imprisoned ghosts in the basement, because he needed ghosts to provide the energy needed to control the eye, or open it, or some crap, it doesn't matter.

So, then the father, his daughter, their nanny, and matthew 'no talent' lilalrd are in the basement looking for the kid, because, obviously, he's in the place where the ghosts are. Then some random girl shows up, and 'no talent' has the witty line "Oh, I'll explain her later" because they apparently know each other (how convenient). Then the daughter (Shannon Elizabeth, who also can't act, but at least can stand there and look pretty and thankfully doesn't really have any memorable bits of dialogue in this movie) get's attacked, and they save her, and then when there backs are turned she mysteriously disappears without a sound. Ooooo.... k.

Then the father has the genius idea of splitting up to cover more ground, because we all know how succesful that always is. And then this good part happens and 'no talent' gets snapped in half sacrificing himself to save the father for no good reason (but not without a witty line like "I've been looking for a reason to like myself for a long time"), but, hell, I'm not complaining that he's dead. And then we find out that one of the ghosts is the guy's dead wife. DUN DUN DUN..

Anyways, long story short, they all die in real life. No, wait, that's just the ending I was imagining in my head. Oh well. At least one of the ghosts was a naked chick. A naked, decomposing chick covered in stab wounds all over her body (like, literally, equally spaced stab wounds that would be totally inconsistent with any kind of realistic murder). Oh well.

    sucksucksucksucksucksucksucksucksuck.

    HORRIBLE

    Overuse of computer special effects
    Rediculous Wire-Fu
    Horrible Comedy
A plot line that makes almost no sense at all
Totally BS stunts that are IMPOSSIBLE and shouldn't even be attempted in a movie because they are THAT STUPID (remember sliding on the ship's anchor rope?) *puke*
Random bits of plot (How the pale sickly man obsessed /w hair turns out to be a ally at the end of the movie FOR NO APPARENT REASON)

Worst film In my opinion is "Combat Zone"

It's a Vietnam War film that must have had a massive budget of at least £2.50. For starters it wasn't even filmed in a jungle, just some normal woodland but with a stereo playing jungle noises on a loop in the background.

The US soldiers didn't even have proper uniforms just green trousers an green shirts...

The dude in charge just monged around swearing at the other soldiers while trying to chew a cigar and look hard.

    -5/10 tbh

Well, if we ignore all the movie's MST3K has done.....

Game Over. or as I like to call it "Night Trap: The Movie."

What other movies do you know of where 35% of the footage is taken from old FMV Games? What other movie do you know where the tagline is: "Ctrl, Alt, Death"? Oh yeah, it's bad..
